The Swiss Championships took place in Geneva from 07.02.2024 to 10.02.2024. A total of five women's teams took part and competed for the Swiss championship title.
On Wednesday morning, we faced Team Lucerne and won the game after a solid performance. In the evening of the same day, we faced Team Grasshoppers, who played very strongly. After a close game, we had to leave the ice with a defeat and focus on the upcoming games. On Thursday we had some time to relax, which we spent doing puzzles and running in the sun. In the evening, we played our third game against Team Bern, which we narrowly won. On Friday morning, we had our last group match against Team Zug, which we also won, so we qualified for the semi-finals on Friday evening. With a good team performance, we were able to win the semi-final against Team Lucerne and were delighted to reach the final the next morning. On Saturday at 10:00 a.m. we started the final match against Team Grasshoppers. Once again, the opposing young team played very well and it was another close game. With a spectacular last stone, we just managed to win the game and became Swiss champions 2024!
We are delighted with this title and will soon be preparing for the World Championships in Sydney, Canada, which will take place from March 16 to 24, 2024.
