The second tournament of the season took place in Cornwall, Canada. We started on Wednesday evening with our first group game against Team Morrison from Scotland, which we won by a very narrow margin. From Thursday to Saturday, we played four more group matches against the Canadian teams Harvey, Hardy, Howard and Ladouceur, all of which we won. With five wins from five group games and thanks to the best last stone draw score, we were the only team to qualify directly for the semi-finals. On Sunday morning, we played the semi-final again against Team Morrison and once again won the game by a very narrow margin, qualifying for the final of the AMJ Campbell Shorty Jenkins Classic. In the final, we faced the previously unbeaten Team Yoshimura from Japan, against whom we ultimately won 8:4. We look back proudly on our second tournament win in a row and look forward to two weeks in Switzerland with rest and training.
